Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how DailyOffer ("DailyOffer", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our website, web application, and browser extension (together, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

2. Information we collect

We collect information in the following ways:

  • Account information — name, email address, and password (stored in hashed form) when you register.
  • Profile & resume data — resumes, work history, education, skills, job preferences, and any other information you add to your profile.
  • Application data — jobs you save or apply to, application status, notes, companies, and contacts you add while using the Service.
  • Interview data — when you use the real-time interview copilot, we process live audio from your session, any screenshots or documents you share in it, and any transcripts or notes generated from it, for the duration needed to provide suggestions and, if you choose to save them, your interview history.
  • Browser extension data — job postings and contact details you capture from third-party sites using the extension.
  • Connected accounts — if you connect a Gmail or Outlook mailbox to a profile, we receive the mailbox's email address, permission to send email from it, and read-only access to its calendar. Section 3 describes exactly what we access from Google and how we use it. You can disconnect at any time.
  • Usage & device data — log data, browser type, and general usage patterns that help us operate and improve the Service.
  • Cookies & similar technologies — used to keep you signed in and remember basic preferences like theme.

3. Google user data

This section applies when you connect a Google account to a DailyOffer profile. Connecting a Google account is optional, and DailyOffer's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

What we access. We request only these Google permissions:

  • Your email address (openid, email) — the address of the Google account you connect.
  • Send email on your behalf (gmail.send) — lets DailyOffer send messages from your Gmail address. It does not let DailyOffer read, search, modify, or delete any email in your mailbox, and we do not access your inbox.
  • Read-only calendar access (calendar.readonly) — we read the events on your primary Google Calendar: title, description, location, start and end times, organizer and attendees (names, email addresses, and response status), and links to the event and its video meeting. We never create, edit, or delete calendar events.

How we use it. Google user data is used only to provide features you can see in DailyOffer:

  • Your email address identifies the connected mailbox, so you can choose it as the "From" address and tell your connected mailboxes apart.
  • The send permission is used only to send the application emails you write or review in DailyOffer — with any attachments you choose — when you send them or at the time you schedule them.
  • Calendar events are shown on your DailyOffer calendar so you can see interviews and other events next to the job applications they relate to. When you ask DailyOffer to match a calendar event to a job, the event's title, description, location, organizer, and attendees are sent to an AI provider solely to identify the employer the event is with.
  • When you start an interview copilot session for a job, DailyOffer shows the title, time, and interviewers of that job's next calendar event, and sends the interviewers' names (with the company name) to an AI provider solely to suggest how to pronounce them.

What we don't do.

  • We do not sell Google user data.
  • We do not use or transfer Google user data for advertising, including personalized, retargeted, or interest-based advertising.
  • We do not use Google user data to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.
  • We do not use Google user data to generate or edit images or videos, and DailyOffer has no image-generation features.
  • We do not use Google user data to develop, improve, or train generalized or non-personalized AI or machine-learning models, and the AI providers we send it to may not use it to train their models either.
  • No person at DailyOffer reads your Google user data unless you give us permission (for example, when you ask for support with a specific item), it is necessary for security purposes such as investigating abuse, or it is required to comply with applicable law.

Sharing. We transfer Google user data to others only to provide or improve the features described above, for security purposes, to comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets after obtaining your explicit prior consent. Specifically:

  • Recipients of the emails you send receive those emails, as with any email you send yourself.
  • The infrastructure providers that host the Service store the data, and our AI providers process calendar event details only for the event-matching and name-pronunciation features described above.
  • If you share a profile with a team in DailyOffer, the team members you give access to can see that profile's calendar events and send email through its connected mailbox.
  • If you create a shareable calendar link, anyone with that link can see the calendar events it includes, until you reset the link.

Storage and protection. We store the email address of each connected Google account, the OAuth tokens Google issues to DailyOffer, and a copy of the synced calendar events. OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM) and are never sent to your browser or the DailyOffer browser extension. When you send an email through DailyOffer, the message and the address it was sent from are saved on the related job application. When you use the interview copilot, the event title, time, and interviewer names it showed are saved with that interview session until you delete the session.

Retention and deletion. We keep the tokens and synced events only while the Google account stays connected. Disconnecting a Google account from its profile immediately deletes its tokens and every calendar event synced from it, and revokes DailyOffer's access at Google (unless the same Google account is still connected to another DailyOffer profile). Deleting a profile deletes all of its synced calendar events, but because a deleted profile can be restored, its Google account stays connected — to end DailyOffer's access as well, disconnect the Google account before deleting the profile. You can also remove DailyOffer's access at any time from your Google Account permissions page. To have all of your data deleted, including records of emails you sent, contact us at support@dailyoffer.pro.

4. How we use your information

  • To provide the Service — job matching, tailoring application materials, tracking, interview preparation, and the interview copilot.
  • To operate, maintain, and improve the Service, including debugging and security.
  • To communicate with you about your account, updates, and support requests.
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms & Conditions.

5. AI processing & third-party providers

DailyOffer uses artificial-intelligence models — including third-party AI providers — to generate suggestions, tailor application materials, produce interview prep, and power the real-time interview copilot. Relevant portions of your profile, resume, job details, (for the interview copilot) live audio, transcripts, and the interviewer names from your calendar, and (when you match a calendar event to a job) that event's details are sent to these providers solely to generate the output you requested. We select providers that offer contractual protections for the data we send them and do not permit them to use your data to train their general-purpose models.

6. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with:

  • Service providers who help us operate the Service (hosting, email delivery, AI processing, analytics) under confidentiality obligations.
  • Third-party job boards or employer systems, only when you use auto-apply and choose to submit an application through them.
  • Authorities, when required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of DailyOffer or others.
  • A successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to this Policy continuing to apply — and, for Google user data, only with your explicit prior consent.

Section 3 describes how Google user data in particular is shared.

7. Data retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Interview audio is processed to generate live suggestions and is not retained longer than necessary for that purpose unless you explicitly save a transcript or summary to your interview history. Data from a connected Google account is kept only while it stays connected (see Section 3). You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see "Your rights" below).

8. Data security

We use industry-standard safeguards — including encryption in transit, encryption at rest for connected-account tokens, access controls, and hashed credential storage — to protect your information. No system is completely secure, and we encourage you to use a strong, unique password.

9. Your rights & choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access, correct, or export the personal information we hold about you.
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data.
  • Withdraw consent for a connected account or the interview copilot at any time.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing of your information.

10. Children's privacy

The Service is intended for people who are eligible to work and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. International data transfers

We and our service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards to protect information transferred internationally.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email or through the Service before they take effect. The "Last updated" date above always reflects the current version.
